  1. The trouble with identity shopping aside, there’s something here terminal to critical thought itself: shudō in the classroom. Nobody’s going to publicly demand Barry the rising star give an unequivocal statement that teacher-student relationships are inviolable and platonic, and they’re not a sphere for erotic adventures. Not that even Barry could work magic, doing so would just be the manly apology…
