Left unsaid is the banana republic feeling right now compared to even as recent as 2008. Maybe that is the weimerica bit, but things definitely have reached a banana republic feeling between the population and its rulers.
Ryan, do you realize that the stimulus is still going on? Since the stimulus was passed, the government has been running on continuing resolutions. each resolution basically says ” same money as last year + x% “. since the first year included the stimulus each year.
this is what killed the GOP . the stimulus money was used to buy the party machinery to keep them from rocking the boat. This is why the tea party formed. The base knew the party didn’t care what they wanted anymore.
trump was the bases last hail mary to avoid having to take more direct measures. I think that avoiding those measures is a unimaginable blessing. I believe that is why no mater what the media does , trump will not lose his base.
Yes I do as it was not a one time stimulus.

With all of the talk of stimulus in the news, let’s try to process two large scale set of infrastructure projects: 1.) The Obama Stimulus Program, with a cost in about $830 billion and the 2.) Interstate Highway System, with a cost of about $500 billion in 2015 dollar.
The latter was designed and built before the modern Blue Social Model was the ruling order of modern Blue State America. The results were tangible and benefited of Americans.
As for the Obama Stimulus Program, I would ask anyone to name a single, tangible result of spending $800 billion. Can your average normie name a single road, bridge or tunnel that was constructed? I consider myself to be a very well informed person and I sure as hell can’t. This was the Blue Social Model taken to its logical conclusion. And with that, we have the God Emperor.

This was in May 2007. The left sold Barack Obama very well.
My wife was re-watching that garbage and I noticed that, too. That whole show is a PC, feminist lovefest, but the funny thing is that all of the characters who perused the direction we are told is for the ultimate fulfillment of women, crashed and burned. Pretty funny actually.
