Hidden History: Oil Won World War II

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

Oil_Field_Workers

Does World War II come down to waves of Russian men? Is it American economic and farm output? Is it code breaking? How about technology like radar and the bomb? There is always talk of what won the war, and one gigantic element is usually left out: oil. Allied oil production advantages set the situation in their favor and provided troops with an insurmountable edge. Oil even started the war, but regardless of how it began, oil would settle the war. War had changed significantly from the start of the Great War, growing mechanized and taking to the skies at greater […]

Washington_Constitutional_Convention_1787

Libertarians lay claim to being morally superior to, well, everyone else on account of their refusal to legislate morality. They do not demand that other people adopt their values or change their way of life, the libertarians say; they merely insist that everyone abide by libertarian norms. Within a libertarian framework all manner of freedom and diversity is acceptable. Okay, you can stop chuckling. Such hypocrisy is at least a little bit refreshing. Would that all our enemies were so awful at disguising their aims. Libertarians want everyone to be just like them, allowing differences of opinion and behavior only […]

The Washington-Sinaloa Connection: Another Failed Attempt To Fund The ‘Good’ Side

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

zetas

It is amazing what happens when one high profile American decides to make something an issue. Donald Trump’s use of illegal immigration as a central talking point in the presidential campaign carnival allowed for a bit more focus on the prison escape of arrested Sinaloa cartel kingpin “El Chapo“. Corruption became a discussed feature for a moment, and then was dropped. The focus was on Mexican corruption, but a deeper evaluation of the Sinaloas would force Americans to review America’s dirty dealings with the Sinaloa cartel. There is an old political concept of “money honest” and then dirty politicians. Money honest […]

Racial Kryptonite

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

Human biodiversity is justified through sociological analysis, historical and anthropological evidence, hints within our own biology, and the Traditional understanding of this subject. In short, it’s an affirmation that the races are indeed different. The races have strengths, weaknesses, different developmental histories, and most importantly, unique metaphysical characteristics that are held in common by the members of that race and influence the kind of society they will build. This has its practical political implications in the adage “people are different and thrive in different systems.” For instance, the failure of blacks in America to achieve any kind of large-scale success is not […]

Noble Lies

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

Marble statue of the ancient greek philosopher Plato

Plato gets the credit for inventing the concept of “noble lie,” a false tale circulated to make a society more civic-minded and justify social stratifications (Republic III 414c-415c). Of all Plato’s ideas, this one may be the one received most unfavorably. No one likes being told that they must be deceived into being good, and egalitarian impulses, especially in the present age, revolt against the idea of sanctifying social classes. As is so often the case, Plato is misunderstood. He was not truly inventing anything but rather critiquing pre-existing Greek religious ideas. Plato presents the “noble lie” in three sections. […]

They Stripped Marriage Of Its Sacredness To Sell Gay Marriage

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

2009102204-chicago-wedding

The top-down imposition of gay marriage is now in the rearview mirror for America’s leftward drift. Will it grant legitimacy to such unions? No. Legitimacy comes from widespread acceptance, not from imposition. Negative referendums, brow-beating by the media and volunteer thought police and five Supreme Court justices are not the sign of widespread acceptance. William Safire was right over a decade ago when he wrote that this gay marriage push was all over one word “marriage” and the legitimacy and approval that it granted. Those shocked at how fast this all happened may point to gay propaganda, but it is not just […]

Sucker Of The Summer: 2015

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

Not terribly long ago I was at a libertarian gathering, and I saw a young man proudly wearing a huge League of the South pin. A nice guy, so later I did some Googling and found a real winner of a photo: And indeed, Senator Graham’s stance on immigration is well worth protesting, being about on par with that Jeb Bush – their positions on war are equally confusable too, and given how dysgenic contemporary conflict is, I dare say you could call it part of the replacement process. However, a Republican politician is not worth writing about – but a […]

Love Versus Hate

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

love

Amor omnia vincit: Love conquers all. That seems to be the slogan these days. Or, it would be if people still studied Latin. The Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges has spawned riots of color all across the country. People are raising rainbow flags here, there, and everywhere. At the same time, the Confederate battle flag is being lowered and removed from all corners of respectable society. This now famous graphic illustrates the noble triumph of Love over Hate. Wait a minute. “Triumph of Love over Hate”? Aren’t love and hate emotions that everyone feels at one point or […]
