But Hacker and Pierson focused on how GOP operatives had gamed this system in a particular, highly coordinated way, closer to an old Southern oligarchic clique, as Cochran might have argued, than to a traditional political party.
People keep talking about Trump being inexperienced and unqualified. Inexperienced at what? Unqualified for what? Is he or is he not the CEO of a major organization? Does he or does he not create jobs and opportunities for thousands of people, including women and immigrants? Compared to Obama, he has light years more experience and qualifications. What am I missing?

Trump just released his immigration plan. It's astonishingly good. He's either the greatest con artist the world has ever seen, or he's just a damn fed up American who wants to save his nation. I'm betting on the latter. He's got my vote.

I don't think this us a dog and pony show. I think they are really scared of Trump.

Speaking of feminist garbage. Didn't Woody Allen recently brag about (I won't say seduce as that's too refined) sleeping, screwing, EVERY leading actress he used. The establishment gives him an award.

Question: have the many dirt slingers been able to dig up similar exploitation on Trump? Surely, they could find something better than a few adjectives.

Trump counter attacks the feminist line on normal men. Rather than groveling he puts them on the defensive. Funny and much needed. Hard to pin "redneck" on him! It's all status-marking and he is changing the terrain.

Well done.

Very well done.

As an aside a vigorous Executive as President [behaving as Dictator which is within it's implicit duty] could save us much grief. At present of course this is essentially a unicorn.

Unless this guy were really that ruthless. Remember the President can call on tremendous force in a crisis.

In any case there's no point in making it worse despite what some idly say. Not to mention the entertainment value of watching this spectacle...we pay dearly for our political class and we may as well be entertained. Bill entertained. Jeb and Hillary missed their calling as Funeral Parlor Ushers.
