It is certainly reassuring to hear that there is a culture of collegiality forming among the different camps of the dissident/alternative right. Breaking the “circular firing squad” mentality is absolutely essential for any movement to form an alternative cultural-political network of institutions. Our latest post on the “Sidestream” is linked here.
Exactly what kind of Christianity is it that you claim to believe in that leaves you without any hesitation at aligning yourselves with followers of Hitlerism and the Crooked Cross?
Do you imagine that your savior has no opinion on the death camps and those who built them?
I seem to have missed that part where I allied myself with “followers of Hitlerism and the Crooked Cross”.
Nick, don’t you know that questioning the intentional displacement of the White majority means that you are a Nazi? That’s the standard response I’ve been seeing on the issue. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like any opponents want to actually discuss it beyond just calling people Nazis and refusing to acknowledge any potential downsides.
I do find it disheartening when I see fellow Christians trying to shut down any debate on the issue using the standard tactics of “slander and ostracize” from the Left. It’s even worse when they invoke Jesus in their denunciations. They frame it as caring more for spiritual matters than worldly issues but it appears to me to be them caring more about how they appear to their liberal friends (i.e., signaling how tolerant they are) rather than what type of future they are leaving to their grandchildren. The funny part is liberals will always view them as racist homophobes no matter how much they signal.
“If you’ve already done the time, may as well do the crime.”
TRS is completely open about their pro-Hitler views and miss no opportunity to make holocaust jokes or otherwise flash neo-nazi gang signs.

Enoch:
“I am not really an 88er because I think its myopic at this point but, umm..I don’t think you can discount everything he [Hitler] did and everything he wrote and what he was trying to do, and
the fact that his nation was basically being attacked by internationalist Jewish Communists…”
Warg(?):
“I think we are on the same page with that”
Enoch:
“at this point I think that as much as you might want to go with that [Nazism] , and that’s fine, I do think strategically, people have been so propagandized against that [Nazism]…you can’t open with that”
Babel:
“I think that National Socialism is not only salvageable, but I think that it is viable”
What do you expect people to make of that?
I just listened to you and babel on two podcasts with them where (among other things) you discussed ongoing negotiations for some kind of larger alliance.
It sounds to me like the Hestia society is getting into bed with the neo-nazis.
Man, you must really be concerned if you took the time to transcribe the conversation! I think you might be reading too much into it though. TRS are not neo-Nazis but they don’t feel the need to constantly denounce Nazism and are “bi-curious” about things which are popularly associated with Nazism (eugenics, etc.) even though the roots of those issues predate German National Socialism.
We follow Mencius Moldbug who noted in regard to White Nationalism, and implicitly much else, “I’m not exactly allergic to the stuff.”
Purity violations not grounded in adaptively beneficial human responses (e.g., eww you don’t hate Hitler enough) are really just vapid moral signaling, and in our current intellectual environment, far more to be eschewed than neo-nazis (who have and never have any power).
If Social Matter cannot speak honestly and openly on such issues, because Wow! Just wow! Purity Violations, then genuinely stupid or wicked (or both) people will be the only ones doing so. And we wouldn’t want that now, would we?
If you believe in a system of government that can not totally inaccurately be described as “racist corporate fascism”, support the claims of HBD, and want traditional gender roles you’re basically as much of a non-person to mainstream opinion as a Neo-Nazi, so why bother signaling against it? Paul Gottfried is Jewish, basically pro-Israel, and very moderate on the JQ (he definitely thinks MacDonald is way off) but he doesn’t go screaming about anti-semitism constantly.
Now I do think Nazism is a total dead-end and only useful as comic relief. Despite the alliance with Mussolini, the Nazi regime more closely mirrored Stalinist Russia and was a chaotic mess from the start
Hey guys, I discovered your podcast and proceeded quickly to devour it all. It’s great to find those on the Alt-Right that are a little more inlined with my perspective. I love TRS, and anyone who criticizes me for listening to it I would simply say: “I don’t agree with every last thing they say, but I believe they are having a conversation that VERY MUCH needs to be had, about a great many things.” But, there are definitely some things amiss philosophically. These tend to be the same things amiss with any Atheist. Namely, the incongruency between their beliefs (materialism, naturalism) and they’re words and behavior (as though there were such a things as objective right & wrong, as though human life was inherently valuable, as though there were a reason to behave morally, etc.).
When it would be so beneficial to one’s self to be a Progressive, in terms of popularity, their personal life, their career, etc. and it is so DETRIMENTAL to one’s life to be Alt-Right, to the point where they would lose their career and possibly safety if they were doxxed, etc., the only reason I can see to be it is because they feel a strong moral conviction. Which an Atheist would realize is just psychology and brain activity.
