They Stripped Marriage Of Its Sacredness To Sell Gay Marriage

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

The top-down imposition of gay marriage is now in the rearview mirror for America’s leftward drift. Will it grant legitimacy to such unions? No. Legitimacy comes from widespread acceptance, not from imposition. Negative referendums, brow-beating by the media and volunteer thought police and five Supreme Court justices are not the sign of widespread acceptance. William Safire was right over a decade ago when he wrote that this gay marriage push was all over one word “marriage” and the legitimacy and approval that it granted. Those shocked at how fast this all happened may point to gay propaganda, but it is not just […]

Sucker Of The Summer: 2015

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

Not terribly long ago I was at a libertarian gathering, and I saw a young man proudly wearing a huge League of the South pin. A nice guy, so later I did some Googling and found a real winner of a photo: And indeed, Senator Graham’s stance on immigration is well worth protesting, being about on par with that Jeb Bush – their positions on war are equally confusable too, and given how dysgenic contemporary conflict is, I dare say you could call it part of the replacement process. However, a Republican politician is not worth writing about – but a […]

Love Versus Hate

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

love

Amor omnia vincit: Love conquers all. That seems to be the slogan these days. Or, it would be if people still studied Latin. The Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges has spawned riots of color all across the country. People are raising rainbow flags here, there, and everywhere. At the same time, the Confederate battle flag is being lowered and removed from all corners of respectable society. This now famous graphic illustrates the noble triumph of Love over Hate. Wait a minute. “Triumph of Love over Hate”? Aren’t love and hate emotions that everyone feels at one point or […]

A Collegiate System of Corruption and Crime

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

When reading Sabrina Erdely’s rationale behind her UVA story, one might be struck by how often she said she hunted for the right school, the right situation, and the right victim. This was when she was being lauded by the media for her reporting on fictional rapes on broken glass. In reality, Erdely was looking for the perfect geographic setting and perfect villain to push The Narrative. Erdely did not have to search hard or look far to find rape, a culture that protects criminals, and systemic protection for criminals from petty theft to rape. This storm of factors is found […]

Accounting, Economics, and Capitalism

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

spreadsheet

Ideologues enjoy using the nebulous concept of ‘capitalism’ either as a punching bag or as something to laud, but most prefer to stay away from the method of calculation that underlies it, giving it its own logic as to why it functions. That system is the international accounting system — which is not something that is evenly distributed throughout the economy. Accounting is a way of rationalizing production using tokens of value combined with scrupulous record-keeping. It has less to do with enormous factories and more to do with the mathematically rationalized operations of those factories. Much of the political agitation […]
