Another two amazingly stupid but nonetheless amusing blowbacks:

Blowback 1.

Progressive Problem: Women respecting men and looking to men for leadership, not the feminist movement or dykes.

Progressive Solution: Empower women to dissolve marriage, raise children alone, where girls will see this amazing example of independent womanhood in their mother. Girls become feminists and we all live in utopia.

Blowback: Young girls without fathers often have abandonment issues who crave male attention like drug addicts do a fix. Often they become sluts, willingly letting men mistreat them for "love" - the very opposite of the feminist intention. The boys raised in these homes become ultra-masculine, bikers, pimps, alphas, prisoners, etc - not the feminist ideal either. Feminist goal not reached.

Blowback 2.

Progressive Problem: General rejection of patriarchy, fathers as head of household.

Progressive Solution: Easy divorce, female-bias family courts, alimony, child support, wealth transfer from male to female, motivated by greed.

Blowback: Marriage strike. Men now perceive marriage as a fate worse than death. One child and you face a lifetime of debt and ongoing government intrusion and monitoring of the most sensitive parts of your life (your family, income and tax affairs). Now women find it hard to marry, as men have worked out no marriage = no wealth transfers take place. Progressive goal not reached.

>In my own experience (purely anecdotal), this “blowback” has undoubtably influenced many perceptive individuals away from progressive ideologies.

Oh yes. Perhaps the final nail in the coffin for any left leaning views I had was this. Seeing the irrationality of leftists jumping down peoples throats when ever someone tried engaging them in civilised discussion is what turned me away. Preaching 'open dialogue' and 'diversity' while trying to shut down any dissenting views to their own.

Equality is incompatible with freedom, and I choose freedom. Oh and logic. The left is incapable of logic and rational reasoning.

Climate Vhange is another example. The left have been opposed to nuclear for decades, and increasingly often we now here calls for nuclear to solve the issue of CO2 in the atmosphere, as a solution to the leftist shrieking about the environment. A massive backfire.

The hypocrisies of liberalism are precisely what made me leave the left. You can't complain about street harassment and presume to be on the same "side" as your harassers by "combatting racism". Anyone who can't see the inconsistency in this is willfully deluding her self. It's one of the most obvious examples but there are countless others. My women's studies class was almost exclusively focused on "the medicalization of childbirth" - yes there are women that claim they are oppressed by men who force them to give birth in a hospital. It's hard to think of anything more ridiculous than a woman who thinks she is oppressed by the availability of medical care - especially when you consider how many women used to die before this was the norm. I was a feminist at the time but I could still see the insanity in these types of arguments.

Modernists are priests that use words as magic wands to deceive and create mystery. To baffle and perplex the uninitiated and advance the deception. You join the society of priests by learning the jargon. The image remains the same in this cruel game.

However, the masquerade turns on the deceiver. He understands his own deception as Will to Power and rebellion against divine order instead of the truth. But, rather than admit his deceit a new game of masks begins. It goes on and on.

In my own experience (purely anecdotal), this "blowback" has undoubtably influenced many perceptive individuals away from progressive ideologies.

Be very careful overedtimating the value of this kind of blowback.

Yes, the left often undermines their stated pinciples and makes itself look silly/hypocritical/dishonest/ect. BUT the goal and result of many of these seemingly ridiculous movements is the institutionalization of leftists values. Rules get changed, laws are past, legal precedents are set, people get fired, ect. The left creates hysteria and institutions react and appease. When the dust settles, the left and its movement makes one more step forward, factual evidence is completly irrelevant. Whatever changes were made in reaction to the hysteria quickly become divorced from the original circumstances.

A few more guys in the UC system visit NRx websites following the false rape bullshit, but the California legislature passed Orwellian "consent" laws basically allowing any woman to claim rape in any encounter at any time.

Who won that round? Its highly unlikely that law will change.

Soon this will be normalized. Fleeing feelings of resentment are not a victory for our side.
