Pitying Your Enemies Is Just Pragmatism

At first, like everyone else, you are ignorant. Then you find your impetus that makes you ask why. People come to this from all different vectors: gender relations, academia, politics, whatever. You start asking why and keep asking why and eventually you uncover truth. A lot of it. You take the next step: argument. You argue in favor of the precious truth you unearthed and the precious civilizations it could build. But when you find a person to whom all reason is ignored, all rational inquiry met with defensive snark, I suggest you take another stride in mental framework: Pity.
When viewing from a higher plane, you see the level of agency that most people operate with does not accommodate the acceptance of wide swaths of truth. The honest pursuit of truth first requires humility. For many, the slice of humble pie that it would require is too large, the psychological cost of accepting their own diminished status in the face of the truth is too great. There are certain things that they just can never accept. When they rebel against a traditional arrangement that would allow them some semblance of dignity and instead flail comically trying to claim power in a world that they could never reasonably have any, it is time for pity.
Who to pity?
Let start with a softball down-the-middle: blacks. Every tenet of progressivism, once enacted, makes their lives more miserable. Their jobs are replaced and outsourced, their most self-destructive instincts are encourage and enabled. Their families are broken up by ridiculous divorce and welfare laws, they have been stripped of any moral code to model from their betters. With decent jobs eroded, their eyes are cast towards lottery tickets of the NBA, rap albums, drug deals for men, and get-knocked-up-by-an-athlete for women. And yet, they dance on a string for the very people that oppress them. They chomp on every bait, hook line and sinker and fight against every motion towards civilizing restraint. Blacks are not hopeless, we’re merely a few generations removed from a time when black men walked the streets in suits and saw their biological kids every day. But the common mass of blacks can’t intellectually grasp this, which makes their fall from grace and the way they have been complicit in to be pitied all the more.
When you think of the typical feminist, remove anger and irritation and subsitute pity. Her entire life she has been given terrible information and advice that has left her barren and unhappy, constantly being told that anything else is oppression. She was simply not prescient enough to overcome the brainwashing. Her gaps in logic are a self-preservation instinct as any real truth would bring her to chug a bottle of sleeping pills. To entertain her blithers is to pretend her words have any power at all. They have none. Any power she has, like that of extracting alimony, or getting someone fired for telling her she’s pretty, even her very paycheck has to be given the stamp of approval by a man.
The gays are an interesting case. If gays acted the way Hollywood portrays them, it would be hard to object to the notion of gay marriage. But the notion that gays are all clean, monogamous professionals is, for the most part, total fiction. The very behavior that any type of gay liberation enables puts those very gays at risk for infectious disease, dysfunctional relationships and societal resentment. The typical gay should not be pitied simply because he is gay, but rather because he does not realize that his “cause”, was created for cheap emotional political points that churns in media dollars and votes, all while further infecting the gay community with diseases and dissuading them away from behaving with any sort of common dignity.
Examine your allies as well. The crew-cut Dixieland Christian with his respect for authority and intact disgust reflexes would make a fine conservative ally by any metric. Why then do they line up to get limbs blown off to move the borders of Israel another four feet, or to bring democracy to a race that is impervious to it, all in the name of the American flag? Their instincts for honor and valor are admirable, the way they allow themselves to be used is pitiful.
Speaking of Israel, what of the Jews? I pity them as well. The common ashkenazi finds himself among perhaps the most privileged ethnic group in the modern world, with preferential admission to elite colleges, the ethnic networking for financial success which follows, and high verbal IQ in a world custom-made for it. Why then, must he believe he is constantly one step away from the gas chamber? The Jewish religion that has preserved their race against the long odds of a wide diaspora for centuries has been lapsed in favor of the religion of the Holocaust.
Constantly taught to fear being othered, their politics and writings are often windows into this anxiety.
Pity won’t win the war. It won’t win the battle. But it is integral for perspective, and to reserve your energy for the true lords of lies. The ones who are truly in the know and hit the gas pedal anyway for profit and status. You’ll find that these people are fewer in number. Since progressive thought consists of so many hypocrisies it is near impossible for any one person to embody them all. It is a leftist folly to ignore nuance and instead cast all opposition as evil. Rather, see the left as a conglomeration of interest groups each cooperating to attain personal status. Disallow the elites the status that progressivism brings and the progressive belief quickly vanishes.
Raging at the 19 year old liberal activist or his dumbass professor is pointless as these are constantly renewable resources for the left. Direct your war instead at the handful of powerful men who steer these universities away from the pursuit of knowledge and instead towards profitable ideology for cash and cocktail parties.
Spewing vitriol at 100 IQ drones in media article comment sections or taking down shyster journalists carries the same folly. Any real effort on this front must be directed at the publisher and his advertisers. #GamerGate, anyone?
Bringing justice to rioters and mocking professional blacktivists must be done, but a far greater leap will be made when you attack those who profit from watching the black community destroy itself.
The list goes on. To put any true dent in progressivism requires more long-term planning and coordination, your enemy’s position is entrenched. The real fight requires men with capital, thumos and influence. In the mean time, mock and pity is a fine way to pass the time but don’t miss the forest for the trees.
Fight the shepherd, pity their sheep.
One if the many casualties of gnostic immanentism was the possible liquidation and sale of the Detroit Museum of Art. It was eventually saved by wealthy whites who stepped in with $100 million or so. Blacks (like all modernists) have zero interest in European culture so they didn’t care. Yet they greedily fought for power, the power to destroy our cultural artifacts and civilization.
Feminists, blacks and queers do not deserve our pity. Most white men are like creatures from the Galapagos Islands who lost the ability to defend themselves through lack of competition. They are weak and can’t afford the luxury of pity.
I want to amend that word “power” to “status.” Power is held accountable. Professional, fake victim groups certainly do not desire that. They are way too busy scapegoating innocent white men.

This is worth repeating. Pity is something you feel for beings so far beneath you that they pose no threat at all, much less an existential one. Miserable beings lacking agency are ripe for pity, as Mr. Hoyle observes, because they are not responsible for their suffering or that which they inflict upon the world. Once upon a time, it was surely proper to feel pity in the way that Mr. Hoyle suggests. But that time has passed. What’s called for now is a cleansing, and if we allow ourselves to empathize with these modern monstrosities, we will diminish our thede’s willingness to strike the killing blow when it becomes necessary to do so. The cancer must be purged, or we are all doomed.
The only morality is civilization.

I hear ya. I did not mean to suggest we go soft on the ball washers of the left. Rather, the paradigm I’m suggesting here is more about marshaling energy. There are a great many progressives who really are pitiful pawns. The real “killing blows” should be focused on the Nick Dentons, not the Gawker readers.
(For the record, I maintain that empathy in the truest sense is important here. The word empathy has been maligned to mean “feel the pain of the biggest victim”, while it truly is much more. Empathy is simply understanding another being’s true emotions and motivations, whatever they may be (hate, lust, anger, etc.). This makes empathy the cornerstone of any strategy. ‘Play the man, not the cards’ is empathy.)

Beyond pitying, we in the reaction have an obligation to build a society that keeps OUR next generation safe from the tragic and myriad ways that modernity will pull and twist at the lives of the children growing up now – children who could still be equipped with a mindset that lets them see modernity’s false promises for what they are and build something better.
I really hope the Hestia team will consider the concept I’d like to pitch them on. I believe it could shift the tide and give your children a fighting chance. It’s been years since I last asked, but please: pray.
I pity the leftist who thinks all who disagree with him to be inhuman monsters. I defend his right to loudly oppose freedom of expression. As the low-class american right was painted as subhuman evil, it does not serve to see the same said of the twitter-class left should the tables turn. We’re all just people who want what’s true and good. Or at least what’s good.

I agree whole heartedly on most of the points, but the conclusion needs a bit of criticism.
The forest in which we remain oriented is massive, multifaceted, and diverse. It’s also fragile and the various “trees” making up this forest tend to hate one another. I am struggling to come up with a forsst fire analogy, but my point is the intellectual infrustructure of the left rests on flimsy (unscientific) foundations of human equality between races. The entire leftist movement would crumble if these were removed.
Once this is removed, the charade ends. Economic models supporting mass immigration on the basis of numerical units of man (interchangeabililty of races). These are discredited. The pillar of economic need for immigration is removed.
Disparate impact legislation and court decisions could be disproven on a scientific basis. The goodies end. Race hustling losses profitability.
Race based legislation becomes normative on the basis of scientific findings.
Etc etc.
What’s more, those on the left know this. Research and analysis in this area is censored and those who would persue actual science are ostricised. You’re run of the mill lefty supports the left as a fashion statement. They want to look smart and popular. They mostly want to NOT be the “Dumb, ignorant, redneck”.
Once science comes around, the tide will shift and shift quickly. Those who would be elitists don’t want to appear stupid, arguing against scientists on issues they could never fully understand. They’ll drop the left’s flag like they dropped bellbottoms.
