		<description><![CDATA[You assume that IS would not have come about without Cathedral intervention and the overthrow of Saddam. This strikes me as an unfair assumption. The Saudis have been exporting Salafism to all corners of the world for decades now. Eventually the Salafists  would have made a play, likely in Iraq or Syria (there&#039;s no way Saddam&#039;s insane sons could have held power for long). This tide was rising, and I&#039;m glad it&#039;s happening over there instead of in the West.]]></description>
