Not All Geopolitical Problems Are America’s Fault

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

Is the kingdom going to fall? Will the kingdom take down its whole region in a flurry of war? The kingdom in question is Saudi Arabia. Probably not, but the fun has kicked up ten notches for them. Iran has some breathing room, and suddenly it’s a Shia-Sunni/Iran-KSA shouting match each week in the news. Iranian missiles can certainly reach across the Persian Gulf and knock out oil fields. The KSA has had bad press, as well, since now people feel open to discuss KSA-ISIS links or even ISIS being a proto-KSA. Blame can be spread all around, but we […]

2016: The Year Of The Censor

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

The Duck just got canned again. As usual, his performance Tweets anticipating the fantastical political executions that await the more obnoxious among the commentariat were not only a welcome spectacle of the absurd for our faithful, but more importantly, a harbinger of things to come. This year will see major upheavals in technology platforms’ speech policies, with the ultimate aim of hiding ideas that threaten the psychosocial narrative tenuously supporting the Cathedral. It’s time to plan for this inevitability. For all of the talk about the Internet’s promise to decentralize or democratize news production and access, the enterprise has curiously tended […]

Undermining Progressive Utopianism In Star Trek The Next Generation

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

“Chain of Command” (6.10-11) is widely and justly considered one of the greatest episodes of Star Trek TNG. While it lacks the awful grandeur of “The Best of Both Worlds,” it is filled with political significance. Chain of Command is notable for displaying the limitations of the liberal, Federation values exemplified by Captain Picard and his crew; indeed, the events of the episode completely undermine the principles upon which the Star Trek utopia is founded. Unfortunately, Chain of Command centers on conflict with the Cardassians, rather than the Klingons or Romulans, relatively well-known and understood enemies. The Cardassians feature centrally […]

The Expert Is A Prefabricated Voice

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

The media is sovereign. If not, they are near sovereign in our society. They have amazing power as the megaphone, the editor of the megaphone, and the user of the megaphone. What they choose to discuss matters, as it shapes the direction of society as energies are focused, applied, and in some cases, misallocated. Beyond that, the media tells us who are experts. They select whom to quote and deem an expert to reveal to you the story they are sharing. Experts come with their biases, but when presented as an expert with official sounding titles and organizations, no one […]

Rock N Roll Is Dead, The SJWs Have Killed It

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

mark

It was only a matter of time. The social justice warrior march through lifestyle institutions continues and is even starting to pick up speed. Video games, Star Wars, anything that can earn some money and occupy the mindspace of citizens (when not tuned into MSNBC or #hashtag activism), must be sanitized by social justice warriors (SJWs). Music is one of the oldest forms of art and found in every culture. Rock is a relatively new form of music and has been associated with rebellion, edginess, and freedom. Not anymore. Rock and pop music were able to push boundaries for decades, and musicians were […]

Anarcho-Tyranny In Germany

Written by , Posted in Uncategorized

migrant

Thawing commentary from Germany suggests that the authorities are commanding its federal police force to look the other way and falsify crime reports, as foreign invaders continue to wreak havoc on their nation. Those menacing “right-wing Germans” that object to this ruse, on the other hand, get the book thrown at them. So reports Oliver Lane of Breitbart London based on an anonymized interview of a young German insider by the daily tabloid Bild. Identified only as “Bernd K.,” the ostensible 22-year-old member of the statewide federal police apparently lives a nightmarish existence in the small border city of Passau. […]
